Quality Assurance Programs (Now
ISO 9001:2008 certified)
 While quality has always been a cornerstone for Engineered Plastics, our commitment took a quantum leap in 2010 when the company received ISO 9001:2008 certification, an internationally recognized standard issued to organizations with a quality management system.
 ISO 9001:2008 provides a set of requirements that must be in place to have a quality management system, regardless of the organization’s size, product or service line, or public or private status. Certification to the standard is voluntary, and organizations must complete a rigorous auditing process by a third-party registrar.
“We undertook this important work because we knew the discipline and rigorous standards behind it would make Engineered Plastics a better company,” according to Davy Davidson, president. “This accomplishment is a testimony to the dedication of our employees and reflects the standard of excellence that our customers expect from us.”
Davidson also added: “Engineered Plastics has been in business for 63 years, and with this accomplishment, our very best years lie ahead.”
In addition to ISO certification, EPI is a UL-approved plastics fabricators as well as a registered vendor with the US government through Central Contractor Registration (CCR), thereby qualifying us for military and other federal government opportunities. We also meet the vendor quality assurance requirements of the US military pursuant to their standards (Mil-I-45208A).
